Change is all about making tiny choices.
If we want to change our lives, it's much simpler than our brain wants us to think.
All it takes is making different choices.
And those choices don't have to be huge.
A whole bunch of tiny choices add up to BIG change before you know it.
Think of a bucket sitting out in the rain. The drops that make it into the bucket are teeny-tiny. But if that bucket sits out in the rain long enough, those teeny-tiny raindrops will fill up that bucket -- even to the point that it is so full that it overflows.
So what tiny choices can you make right now to begin to bring about a change you'd like to make?
Take a walk to the end of the street and back?
Drink water instead of soda at lunch?
Meditate for 2 minutes?
Stop eating when you're satisfied instead of when your plate is clean?
Write one page?
Take two deep breaths?
Send one email about a new job?
Don't let your brain tell you that the tiny things don't matter.
The big changes couldn't happen without them.
Write It Out: In your journal this week, explore the tiny choices you could make to bring a bigger change to life. See if you can break it down into the tiniest of choices and then commit to making one each day. Write about what happens.
